Czech Art Deco Ashtray in ALEXANDRITE GLASS "PEGASUS" - WINGED HORSES Gorgeous Vintage Revival Piece Hand Made from Antique Molds !! An absolutely stunning NEODYMIUM (ALEXANDRITE) Glass ashtray called "Pegasus", originally created and made during the Art Deco period and expertly hand-made again today in the Czech Republic from vintage molds. Neodymium Glass appears as a beautiful violet in natural/incandecent light and a smokey blue in flourecent light. The ashtray is approximately 5 inches in diameter and 2-3/4 inches high. Depicted are three winged horses standing on their hind legs. Their wings are spread on the outside of the ashtray and provide a gorgeous design when viewed from the semi-translucent top. The inside of the ashtray has been highly hand-polished to perfection and the detail in the musculature is particularly remarkable. This item is hand-crafted, is new and is in excellent condition. It has a "Hand Made in the Czech Republic" label and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Shipping is by USPS Priority within 3 business days of receipt of payment.
