ART DECO PRESSED GLASS FIGURE CENTRE PIECE LILAC LADY Description: WELCOME to our auction for a lovely pressed frosted glass figure of a lady in period costume holding a fan in her right hand. Her hair is dressed in ringlets and she stands on a flat base. Quite heavy with good definition she is a pale lilac and in some of the images does show as a more pink colour due to the lighting. I like to capture details however! Just lovely for a collection. DIMENSIONS : Approx 6" (15.2cms) tall x 2.25"(5.6cms) diameter MARK : none to indicate maker or country of origin. I believe this is an Art Deco period example but stand to be corrected CONDITION : There is a small chip to the edge of her left side ringlets. The join of glass is quite rough and unpolished on her top half in particilar. She would also benefit from a better clean than I have afforded her--sorry :) ---please look at the images as I may have missed something?
