Art Nouveau French Limoges Chocolate Pot Teapot Mums Description: for auction is this very attractive French Limoges Choclate Pot Lovely Art Nouveau form featuring a swirl body and scrolling handle and spout. The body is Pure white porcelain with a pink handle and spout It is All handpainted with pink and yellow mums, and foliage. Also lightly accented in white enamel. Skillfully gilded with a lattice design with stippling and scrolls It is faintly marked in red with a French Limoges logo. I believe it is that of P.H. Leonard. It also carries a paper sticker, which appears to be an inventory number. Circa 1890's - 1914. Definitely Art Nouveau. Measurements: approx. 10" tall approx. 6 1/2" across from handle to spout Condition: Very Good Condition As shown, it has some wear to the gilding at the handles and spout. It is also missing most of a fine gilded pinstripe at the base. The gold latticework and gilded floral decoration is intact and beautiful! Absolutely No chips, cracks or repairs.
