Vintage oval Ashworth flow blue lidded tureen or gravy boat with underplate. Blue and white with floral decorations. Underplate feels thick and measures 7 1/2" x 5 3/4". Very minor chipping on the very edge, some of which was done during manufacturing. The tureen has a handle on each side and has a pedestal which has a small chip on the bottom. Body has a thin brown crack but is underneath the glaze. Inside of tureen has brown discoloration in the form of dots ranging in sizes from fleabites to a half a dollar. It measures 3" tall, 8 1/4" wide and 4 3/4" deep. Lid has a handle and an opening for a ladle or spoon. It measures 2" tall, 7" wide and 4 3/4" deep. Gold piping has wear and all of the pieces have crazing. Engraved on the bottom of the underplate is "Ashworth". Item sold AS IS. As ominous as this sound, it is a wonderful and great looking piece.
