You are bidding on a metal reproduction of a early 18th century tooth extractor known as the "Key". This is a professional advertisment from the Astra Pharmaceutical Products Company of Worcester 6, Massachuetts. The item is from aproximately the early to mid 1950's. The item includes the original shipping box and a booklet containing the history and application of the "Key" and an advertisement for "Xylocaine". The box shows some minor damage because of age. The original shipping and return address labels are still intact. The "Key" is aproximately 4 1/2 inches long with the handle being 3 5/8 inches long. It shows very little few marks on the tool. This is a unique and interesting advertising item. It has only been in our family, not a flea market purchase.
