Overview: Up for bid is a custom painted and weathered Atlas O SLSF Frisco PS-1 box car, 2R . This car has a build date of 64' and has been weathered for the mid 70's. Here is car from Morning Sun Books Frisco Color Guide to freight and passenger equipment. It would be great to see Atlas give us a detailed plug door like this one. I built this with Evergreen styrene and K&S engineering steel wire. The decals were professionally designed and printed by Highball Graphics. The car also includes cut levers, Kadee 805 couplers and Atlas rollerbearing trucks. Other models not part of auction. Serial Number: 1310 Each car comes with an engraved plate listing serial number. The completed car album of over 1000 cars to date is now being uploaded to . the album Weathering Information: This is a new car that has been removed from its packaging, primed, painted, weathered, KD 805 couplers installed, Atlas trucks installed, and repacked. It was created with a combination of artists colors, Floquil paints, weathering powders, dry brushing, and air brushing. The rust was created with a combination of artists colors layered to achieve a realistic pitted and "running" effect.
