NEW! Atlas EMD GP-40 Louisville & Nashville Locomotive , Atlas P/N # 8919, Louisville & Nashville Road No. 3002. This locomotive is brand new and never run. This unit has a Digitrax® DH165IP DCC Plug “N" Play decoder and features 128 speed steps, momentum, user selectable direction of travel, and FX 3 function outputs for prototypical lighting effects. This locomotive also has Kadee® #148 Magne-Matic metal “whisker” couplers installed instead of the standard Atlas couplers. As all Atas locomotives, it features tremendous details and flawless operation on your DCC layout. This locomotive was $89 when purchased and the decoder was over $20.00 so this is a tremendous opportunity. L&N units 3000-3004 were built in October 1966 as part of a 30 unit procurement of the 3,000 horsepower GP-40’s. This batch of locomotives was eventually renumbered as SBD 6979-6801.
