ICE CREAM SHELL --Railroad china in the California Poppy pattern. Exclusive use of this pattern was to the Santa Fe Railroad and Fred Harvey eating house establishments.The mark O.P.CO. SYRACUSE CHINA ---is used from 1897 to 1926----date code E-5 would work out to May of 1924. Found this thru research on the internet.Very nice condition, clean, clean colors, no chips or cracks and only a few utensil marks in the well, SEE DETAIL PICTURES ABOVE! Lovely Clear RAILROAD BACKMARK on this piece. THIS IS AN AMAZING FIND ! This is about 5 & 1/8" in diameter and including the handle it is 6" long and about 1 & 1/4 tall, at handle 1 & 3/4". ! - DONT MISS OUT ON THIS SALE ! ENJOY AND PLEASE BID OFTEN
