Hi, and welcome to my auction for a very rare pair of hard based whiskey / scotch glasses from the Augusta National Golf Club home of the Masters Tournament. Several years ago, I was fortunate to be invited to the National (as its referred to in the states) for a one week trial as an assistant superintendant (greenkeeper over here in the UK). I will not mention any names due to the strict confidentiality code at Augusta however, as a thank you and leaving gift one of the members gave me these glasses in recognition for the work I had done. You will note that these glasses bare the name of the club which make these extremely rare - these are not "Masters" items which you can buy from the pro-shop. The only way you can obtain an item like this is if you work or know somebody at Augusta. These would grace any golfers home or Clubhouse anywhere in the world.
