Hi, Folks Up for bid is this SUPER NICE VINTAGE BONA ALLEN cutting / reining RANCH saddle VERY WELL MADE !! This saddle was made back in the day when Sears came and outfitted your whole farm. It is not marked but is the typical bona allen so its pretty easy to identify I have been collecting saddles for a number of years and bona allen is my favorite, I travel all over to pick them up they just seem to last forever Solid very well built saddle !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This saddle is in Super nice well maintained sound usable condition It is built on Bona Allen's cutting saddle tree. ( this means the tree itself is a cutter tree, the trees are built to put you in closer contact with your horse ) The tree and horn are solid ( rawhide wrapped hard wood tree ) The skirts also are not super long ( top to bottom ) so it doesnt impede with your leg contact The only place the skirts go down very far is w the rigging is I have a friend who uses the twin to this saddle, he does everything with it from breaking colts to roping calves and even trail riding and he is very happy with his The leather is in very good clean condition Not all cracked up All hand floral tooled Real lambs wool fleece is in usable condition read more
