This is a fantastic presentation folder from the estate of Chief Marshal of Aviation, and TWICE Hero of the USSR, Aleksandr Koldunov! Marshal Koldunov was one of only 5 men to hold the rank of Chief Marshal of Aviation of the USSR (the highest rank possible in the Soviet Air Force) and was a 46 kill Ace during WW2 - making him the NUMBER 8 ranking Allied ace of WW2! His last job was as Chief of Air Defenses of the USSR, and was responsible for the shooting down of the Korean Air Lines airliner and the Rust incident w a young German lad flew his Cessna into Red Square! He passed away shortly after the fall of the USSR, and his son sold off his estate in 1993. I was lucky enough to acquire numerous items from his estate and will be offering them on eBay! This is a beautiful folder presented to the good Marshal! This folder is one of my personal favorites. It's SUPER fancy and nice! It was given to the Marshal by the Leningrad Political Military Academy! The folder measures a very large 10x14 inches!!!
