This auction presents a beautiful example of AYNSLEY Bone China from England. It is a white "log" with four of the famous Aynsley "Hand Modelled Hand Painted" flowers. T is a white CARNATION with red picotee edge, a classic RED ROSE and two BEGONIAS (?)--one yellow and one blue. The log base is 5" long, 1 1/2" across and 2" high to the top of the flower petals. The bottom (see photo) has the blue Aynsley "Crown" maker's mark and an artist's mark. This piece is in pristine estate condition with not one chips, crack or repair. Quite remarkable for these delicate china posies! T is a bit of light crazing of the glaze consistent with age on the log base only. This lovely piece will be an ideal addition to any collection!
