Created from the amazing Andi sculpt from the talented Linda Murray of The Cradle. This kit is now discontinued, so I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to reborn such a beautiful boy. I have enjoyed every m oment of creating precious Max and now he is ready to go to his new home. Max is absolutely adorable and you will want to pick him up and hug him the moment you get him home. He is so incredibly realistic and feels so real to hold in your arms. He has such a peaceful expression - a beautiful and realistic, precious baby boy. Baby has 3/4 arms & legs and a soft suede body custom made to fit him perfectly. Max is perfectly weighted. His limbs have been part filled with tiny glass granules and topped and secured with fibrefill. His body has been carefully filled with squidgy baby fat, and topped with fibrefill giving him the most soft huggable body. Max is so wonderful to hold. His head is weighted with glass beads so, just ike a real newborn, he will need gentle support. He has been painted with quality heat-set Genesis paints, which are made to stand the test of time. His skin tones have been created by using many layers and painting methods over many days and the results are amazing. His skin has beautiful mottling and a subtle textured finish giving it such an amazingly realistic look. Every crease has been carefully shaded and his little nails tipped and sealed. His cute little nose has been shaded to create depth. Max comes home with his own detachable tummy plate which can cover his cloth body and present endless possibilities for realistic posing. Max's hair is so soft and beautiful. Hand rooted from the finest quality mohair with a mix of two different shades of brown to give it depth. His hair looks so real and is easy to maintain due to the directional rooting of the mohair. It has been sealed on the inside of his head to allow you to gently comb into place. It's so incredibly soft and beautiful, just like that of a real newborn baby. SAFETY NOTE Please note that baby Max is NOT A TOY and is not suitable for play. He is a collector's doll for adults and can be carefully handled and dressed as you would a real baby. Due to the nature of his fillings and small parts, he is absolutely not suitable for children. Max also contains a magnet for his dummy/pacifier. As with all magnets care should be taken around electrical items, pacemakers etc. I will happily remove his magnet if requested. The pictures are a true reflection of the baby that you will bring home. You will simply not want to put this little angel down when you hold him in your arms. LAYAWAY AVAILABLE ON REQUEST COMING HOME Max is the size of a real baby. He wears newborn sized clothes (depending on make). He will go to his new home with all clothes shown in the auction. He will also go to his new mum with a soft blanket, soft toy, certificate of authenticity and birth certificate (please advise if you wish his name to be changed).
