Welcome; you are viewing a beautiful, vintage, Baccarat Crystal decanter. The decanter is part of my late mother's antique collection and from what I can determine, it was purchased in the mid to late 1970's from an antique dealer. The decanter was used as a display item only. The decanter has 8, flat, vertical, cut panels around the circumference. The circular stopper has a double layer of crystal, with 10 flat vertical cuts. The height of the decanter, including the stopper, is 9 inches. The circumference of the base is 15 inches. The crystal decanter would be a beautiful addition to your bar ware.The base has the "Baccarat, France" etched signature within a circle; a glass, decanter and another object is pictured within the circle. The numbers 712, with a wavy line beneath, are also etched on the bottom of the base. The 7 has the European horizontal slash on the stem of the number.The condition is excellent; t are no scratches, dings, repairs, cracks, chips on the item. However, t are some fine line marks on the bottom of the base, caused from being moved across a surface. T are a few minimal water marks on the interior bottom of the base. The water marks cannot bee seen when the decanter is sitting on a shelf or on a table.
