Hello MTH and Lionel Trains 3-rail, O-scale operators looking for a coal elevator for your "Age-of-Steam" theme layout . . . For your consideration - this nice-looking Plasticville O-scale Coaling Station (or coal elevator, coaling tower, etc.) …a great addition to your Lionel O-27 gauge, 3-rail steam-era pike …assembled, glued & ready-to-go, as shown in the photos below. This is a built-up kit, and was in use on a table-top 3-rail layout. It measures 12½" high, with a 5½" x 6" base, not including the stairway. A few decals have been applied ("Cooper Lumber & Building Supply - Bldg B"). The structure is in excellent condition, and may have some scenery and glue residue in spots (…please see photos provided below). Note that the track, loco, & tender are shown for reference only, and are not part of this auction. There is no original box, and no additional decals. Also note that the decals already applied may not have been original to this kit. This item can be examined at our home in Northwest New Jersey anytime during the auction. If you would like additional photos, just let me know. Shipping considerations… I will pack this in a large box, swimming in Styrofoam peanuts. It will no-doubt see some rough handling, so you should reasonably expect to have some repair work to do when it arrives (…such as remounting the stairway). Please read more
