PLEASE READ ENTIRE AUCTION DESCRIPTION AND TERMS PRIOR TO PLACING BID. THANK YOU! Hello. You are bidding on a lightly used Bachmann G-scale train set called the "Silverton Flyer." I rated this set as C-6, very good condition. I bought this trainset several years ago brand new on E-bay for nearly $200.00. Set was taken out once for Christmas and ran a few times, before being placed back in storage. However, I did have the locomotive/tender on display for about a year or so on a book shelf w it collected a little dust. It also became the interest of the family cat as I recently (about a few days ago) discovered. Our cat decided to make a chew toy out of the locomtives smoke stack as seen in two of the photos. The cat also damaged the tender handrail and dented one end of the tender when she decided to play with it (see photos). These items can be repaired/replaced by any competent modeler. I just don't have the time or space to have G-scale trains. I'm sticking to HO and N scale for now so stay tuned for more G scale stuff. So it is for your consideration. This is what you get in this train set: Locomotive/tender: 2-6-0 Steam locomotive/tender decorated for the Denver & Rio Grande Western (D&RGW). Colors are the "bumble bee" scheme: Yellow and black. Locomotive has speed sychronized sound feature and puffs smoke. Tender houses speaker for sound and requires a 9 volt battery (included, but unknown if battery still works). Boxcar: Detailed brown D&RGW with sliding side doors, steel wheels & knuckle couplers. Caboose: Detailed red D&RGW bobber caboose with steel wheels & knuckle couplers. 14 piece steel alloy snap together track. Makes a 45"x57" oval. Snap fit power connector and UL listed power pack. VHS instructional video Miscellaneous parts (i.e. hook/loop couplers and other small parts for track). Original box with handle. Instruction manual, warranty card, misc. paperwork & smoke oil. Makes a great gift for your budding railroad engineer or for your own collection. Would love to keep it, but like I said before, I don't have the time or space right now.
