Up for Auction is a Truly Magnificent New Built Bamboo Fly Rod. The Rod Is Built on a Hardy Marvel Taper Blank From the Presidential Series of Blanks.It is a True 4 weight that I have cast a 3 weight line with as well. I had 6 of them. This is the last I have. It was being kept nby me but I was asked o put it up for auction. It Has A Great Feel. The Blank is one of my own Angler's Roost Presidential series Blanks. The rod was assembled with my own Components And is Finished off to Perfection. The Finish is Supurb to say the least. IT IS A MARVELOUS ROD OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. AND IT IS FLAMED. LOOK AT THE PICTURES. I HAVE 6 Picture that show all aspects of the Rod. It is Hardy's Most Highly Desired Rod. It is one of Hardy's most Celebrated and Best Known Models. Hardy's is still considered one of the Finest Bamboo rod Line's in Existance.Almost all of these tapers come from the same book. Gould's Tips And Tapers. Only the Finest Tonkin Cane is used. ALL the blanks ARE heat treated twice during Their construction. The Rod You See Pictured is a 7 1/2 foot rod. It comes with 2 tips and is a 3 piece rod. It is a 4 Weight rod. Medium action, Mid flex. It will come with a rod sock.The Flaming on this Blank is really Magnificent. The Rod Is made of GENUINE TONKIN CANE . As are all the Rods built on my Presidential Blanks. This Rod is a True Hardy Marvel Taper. It is 7 1/2 foot in length, 3 piece with 2 tips. The Finished rod weighs a mere 116 Grams. That is Less than 4 ounces. The Blank is Beautiful. It is Flamed and the flaming is Awesome. The rod is Assembled with the finest of accessories being used in the construction.of the finished rod. The Rod has A Reel Seat of T1 Titanium Finish Plated Aluminum With Burl RoseWood Motised to fit the reel foot. It is an Up Lock Style.The Slide rings are Engraved appearance. The handle is made of Exotic Burl Wood That is Polished to perfection. The handle is in the traditional 1/2 Welles Design. The Handle Has a Gold finish Winding Check. The Ferrules are made of Nickel Silver. They are of the Z NICKEL Configuration. It comes with a Carboloy Stripping Guide.T are 7 Light Weight S/S/ T 1 Finish Snake Guides and a T 1 Finish. Tip Top. Likewise the Hook Keeper is T 1 Finish as well. The wraps are 00 Magenta Silk. The Rod is Finished with Hand Brushed Coats of Spar Varnish. It is Truly A Fine Illustration of the ROD BUILDER'S ART.
