The picture is an example of what you COULD find, these coins are NOT INCLUDED in this auction! Up for auction is an unsearched, unopened bank roll of U.S. half dollars. There are 20 half dollar coins in each roll for a total of $10 face value of the coins. What you are really buying is a chance to nab some silver at face value! So, why buy bank rolls on ebay? Fewer and fewer banks carry rolls of half dollars to sell to customers and businesses, for the sheer fact that they are bulky, don't fit into many cash registers and most customers don't desire them. The few banks who will aquire them, charge a premium along with forcing you to purchase the entire box for $500 rather than buying a few rolls here and there. Arent these the same rolls I can buy at my bank? Yes (if you can conivince a teller to sell them to you.) I have built relationships with tellers and managers at banks over the years and am able to order a few boxes a month through some of those branches, taking all of the hard work out of the equation and selling them to you.
