Offering a complete and near mint vintage #870 Barbie Fashion Queen with the RARE American Girl mark on neck rim.Per the Fashion Doll Guide, there were dolls considered to be transitional dolls having the American Girl face. You can easily identify the transitional doll because she will have the traditional American Girl markings on the inner rim of her head (please see pic 2). These are considered rare and valuable dolls!Barbie is clean; but has been played with so her body does show minimal play wear. No green ear, missing fingers or neck splits. The arms and legs are tight.Please examine pictures as they are the definitive description of the vintage Barbie item. Fashion Queen comes from a smoke free home.Includes the doll with blue headband, gold and white swimsuit with turban, pearl stud earrings (removed), wig stand with three wigs, and white open toe shoes (left marked Japan, right unmarked), handmade clothes, and her black wire stand.Also included in this offer is a blue 1962 Barbie doll case in very good condition. Handle is NOT broken and the latch works great; but has some minor rust. There is one half-inch tear on the front lower right bottom.
