BASSETT-LOWKE MAGAZINE "MODEL RAILWAYS & LOCOMOTIVES" VOL 3. No.10 OCTOBER 1911 This is THE Pioneer of Model Railway Magazines. It is full of articles relating to prototype practice, as well as modelling, with the accent on engineering. Of course it makes many references to Bassett-Lowke and their products -- and it is worth it for the advertisements alone! These Magazines do not often seem to come to light, so here is an opportunity to acquire a real Antique (for so it is), and i f you are interested in Model Railways' history (and other Models too), then this is a must for your Library! 23x15.5cms, 56 pages, illustrated with Black & White Photos and Line Drawings. Sadly this old fella has lost its COVERS, but the rest of the Magazine is in very good condition, still tightly bound by the ORIGINAL (though rusty) STAPLES. I have many more issues of these Magazines, as well as similar historic books, catalogues etc., yet to List. If you are seeking particular issues, feel free to enquire.
