Batchelder, Los Angeles, CA 1909-1932. Here is a very nice vintage Batchelder tile. This was part of my father's collection that was found during a recent construction project. My father was an avid art collector and enjoyed going to auctions and antique shops and expanding his collection. Unfortunately, his tiles were put into storage many years ago and forgotten about. They were recently "rediscovered" during a construction project in Los Angeles, CA. The time has come pass them along to someone that can truly appreciate them and put them on display. This tile is marked Batchelder Los Angeles and measures approximately 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" x 1/2" and is in excellent condition.
