Artist Jonathan Lau drew this issue of Battlestar Galactica: Pegasus, published by Dynamite Entertainment !This original art , measuring approximately 11" x 17" is illustrated in pencils on standard weight comic art illustration board. This story takes place about three years in the past of current BSG continuity, just a short time before the Cylon Attack on the Twelve Colonies, and concerns the events leading up to the Season 3 episode, "Hero". Then-Captain Adama, in command of the Battlestar Valkyrie , was ordered by Colonial Admiral Corman to conduct surveillance missions on the Cylons. Adama sent Lt. Daniel "Bulldog" Novacek on a clandestine mission across the Armistice line, but Bulldog's ship was damaged by unknown ships. Adama shot Bulldog's ship down, hoping to conceal the fact that the humans had broken the peace, only to later learn the Admiralty already knew the Cylons were preparing for war and the attack on the colonies was inevitable. Shortly after that mission is w this story begins...
