nice details and intact Shabti of Pasinebu Egypt, Late Period, 26th. to 30th. Dyn. c. 664-332 B.C. Material: Faience Size: c. 10.8 cm Condition: intact Provenance: English private collection Shabti of PasinebuThe T-shaped inscription on the shabti reads as follows:(1) sHD Wsir p(A)-z(j)-nbw (2) ms.n sTt mAa-xrw“(1) Illuminating of the Osiris, Pasinebu, (2) born of Setjet, justified.”The name Pasinebu means “the man of gold”. These name formations are typical for the Late Period. Compare the name of the famous Pharaoh Psametik: p(A)-z(j)-n-mTk “the man of mixed wine”. The name of the mother, Setjet, means “the asiatic” (cf. Ranke, Personennamen, p. 322 no. 17, 18). Uschebti für PasinebuDie T-förmige Inschrift auf dem Uschebti lautet wie folgt:(1) sHD Wsir p(A)-z(j)-nbw (2) ms.n sTt mAa-xrw„(1) Erleuchten lassen des Osiris, Pasinebu, (2) geboren von Setjet, gerechtfertigt.“Der Name Pasinebu bedeutet „der Mann des Goldes“. Solche Namensformen sind typisch für die Spätzeit. Man vergleiche den Namen des berühmten Pharao Psammetich: p(A)-z(j)-n-mTk „der Mann des Mischweins“. Der Name der Mutter, Setjet, bedeutet „die Asiatin“ (vgl. Ranke, Personennamen, S. 322 Nr. 17, 18).
