Beautiful black forrest antique cuckoo clock,16 in. tall,8 in. wide,and 5 in. deep,Everythig on this clock looks original ,including the bellows which are carved out of wood, not plastic like the newer clocks.the carvings are done by hand and are very nice. it has a 3 in. face and the birdie is hand carved from wood and hand painted with a movable mouth,not cast from plastic. The clock runs, chimes,and cuckoos fine. the movement is marked "cuckoo clock co. germany,and is also stamped B100/150. I bought it years ago at an estate sale had it on my wall running for a long time and had to take it down to make space for newer clocks as my collection grew. I have had it boxed up and put away for many years..I am now forced to sell many of my clocks because i am moving to a much smaller place.As with all my clocks it is being sold with NO RESERVE and could probably use a good cleaning and oiling. It may require some minor adjustments after shipping .This clock will make a nice addition to any collection. GOOD LUCK BIDDING! . |
