Bernardaud Chateaubriand Low Footed Cup and Saucer This is a low footed cup and saucer in the Chateaubriand pattern by Bernardaud. Chateaubriand blue by Bernardaud features a delicate floral motif on fine china and is banded by a platinum roping. A blue laurel rim with pink and blue flowers and scalloped edges add to the sophistication and grace of this pattern. This pattern is a reproduction of an 18 th century pattern now displayed at the Paris Arts Decoratifs museum. The saucer measures about 5 ¾" across and has the #27 on the underside. The cup is about 4" across and 1 ¾" tall and has the #53 on the underside. Each is free of cracks, chips or crazing and in excellent condition. These are wonderful pieces which would look great on any table! We prefer PayPal, but will accept money order or cashier's check.
