This auction is for old piece of advertising from the Bethel College Science Hall in N. Newton, Ks. It is a letterpress printers block with advertising items on it. I think this was probably print advertising from early 1900's?? Bethel was founded in 1887. It is all in German writing which I can not read, and is a reverse image. I tried to take a picture of the item in a mirror to display the writing. (see last picture) It appears to be advertising for assorted items: piano, organ, cream separator?? It does have the name Abraham Ediger and a Schroeder. The item is roughly 17" x 8" and is about an inch thick. It has the numbers 5007 written on one side in ink. The Science Hall is being remodeled and Bethel is selling, and has sold a number of items from the building. I have purchased several items and will be listing them over the next few weeks.
