Authentic NATIONAL BHUTANESE DRESS for men. This set includes all mandatory pieces: Gho itself (long flowing robe - one size fits all), Kabney (for formal occasions), Kera (belt) and white silk vest (worn under Gho). All handmade. Purchased personally in the capital of Bhutan - Thimpu for His Majesty The King of Bhutan wedding in October 2011. All participants had to wear traditional dress, including myself. Bhutan Has An Amazing Home Weaving Tradition That Is Reinforced By The Country's Laws That Anyone Doing Business With The Government Or Attending School Must Wear Traditional Dress. Traditional Dress For Men a Knee Length Robe Called A Gho Which Is Secured At The Waist By Long Woven Belt - the Kera. The Garments Are Pulled Up Over The Belt And Then Draped Over The Belt This dress is full traditional Bhutanese design. This dress was worn once, to his Majesty's wedding. This is a wonderful authentic piece from the only remaining Kingdom in the Himalayas! It's in excellent condition, like new, no single damage or stain.
