This auction is for a beautiful Disney snowglobe bought from Disneyland Paris in 1990. It is 8" tall by 10" long, and it features the Three Little Pigs and The Big Bad Wolf and the globe is effectively the house made of sticks. The wolf is huffing and puffing and two of the pigs are leaning hard against the door whilst the third pig is approaching from the back. The wind up musical movement plays "Whose afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?". The snowglobe is in excellent condition as is the musical mechanism. I have noticed that a little bit of clouding occurs in the liquid when it is turned upside down, but this quickly settles when returned upright and the liquid is clear when the snowglobe is static. There is a switch which used to start a battery operated movement which threw up a load of sticks into the snowglobe, but that now doesnt work...I think maybe the sticks have got blocked or jammed and this may be repairable. However, even without this feature, this is a very rare, unusual and attractive musical Disney snowglobe which would enhance any collection. It comes complete with it's original box and packaging.
