U.S. Navy binoculars from WWII. Reads (on left side) US NAVY BU ORD, US NAVAL GUN FACTORY, MARK 37 9X63, No. 4793 and at bottom 7X50, on right side reads lined through: US NAVY BU SHIPS, MARK 32 MOD 4, N(circled, ANCHOR OPTICAL CORPORATION, NEW YORK, NYModified from 7x50 to 9x63, for use on Naval vessels these binoculars show signs of age, but the optics are still in good working order. Original strap missing as are the eye cups. See pictures. They are still usable and offer a great field of view.PLEASE NOTE; ERROR IN TITLE LISTING, ITEM IS 9X63, NOT 9X83
