This is a Music Chair from the Black Forest. The chair does not have the music box and the seat bottom is in poor to fair condition. The rest of the chair is in very good condition. The inlaid on the back is very nice as is all the carvings on the back. The legs are also very nice. I believe the seat could be repaired or replaced and the chair would be very nice. For anyone not knowing much about these chairs, the seat is hinged and a music box is inside. When someone sits on the chair, the music box would be triggered and music would play as long as the person was sitting. These chairs are very rare and do not come up for sale very often. I am setting the reserve at $100.00 because of the seat being in poor condition. Please email with any questions. All shipping and crating charges are the responsibility of the buyer. I also have the chair for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. Payment is due within 7 days of auction's end.
