Fine Kimono & Japanese Antiques 1-800-963-CHUU (US toll free) Black FUKURO OBI Patterns on Undulating Movement #16510 Design & Condition Moving across the black textile of this fukuro obi, lines undulate like flowing waves or the blades of grass in wind. Within those lines, floral patterns of pine, maple leaves, chrysanthemums and paulownia flow with the movement, alongside tortoiseshell hexagons and solid patches of gold. The lining and 40 percent of the front side have no patterns as these areas will not appear when the obi is worn in the traditional manner. Condition: In very good condition apart from a very slight center fold line on the plain black section, normal to used obi. Please note: Some vintage/antique kimonos and fabrics have natural age patina that are difficult to capture in photos. Please refer to the condition for noticeable flaws or damages.
