Honeybees buzzing, sunflowers blooming - this bowl has summer written alllllll over it (literally, front and back)! To make this bowl, Leanne first threw the piece on a potter's wheel. After drying and trimming, the piece was then covered with a black clay paint called slip. Leanne then used a process called "sgraffito" to carve away the back slip to reveal the white clay underneath. This piece measures 10.75" diameter and 2.5" in height. The bottom is signed "lp 15".
