Blue and White Apple Blossom Salt Crock Up for auction is this Blue and White Stoneware Salt Crock in the Apple Blossom Pattern. This beauty sports a diamond-shaped waffle background that hosts the word " SALT" highlighted in Cobalt and Apple Blossoms and Leaves on each side . This decoration is repeated on the lid. Two shell-like decorations adorn the back to complete the decoration. Good Condition: The base has a surface-only drying line at the top of the hanging hole at the back in the making (not a crack). Some chipping underneath the inner rim- even minor roughness on the left (person who used it was right handed and that side met the lid first when it was put on) and a couple 1/2" chips on the right. No chips on the outside of the rim, hairlines, cracks, stains, or repairs. The lid has a series of chips on the edge, both top and bottom as shown. No hairlines or cracks. It is about 3/16" too small for a comfortable fit on this base, but sits for display fine (see the closeup of the top) A Blue and White Apple Blossom Salt Crock with Lid in Good Condition.
