PADEN CITY SPRINGTIME The bid is for a stunning piece of Depression Glass cobalt blue made by the Paden City Glass Co. The pattern is Springtime in silver overlay on the desirable Crow's Foot blank. The pattern shows a floral medallian with a woman holding a floral wreath and a small Cupid at her side. The mayo and liner are the traditional fan and teardrop Crow's Foot pattern. The liner is 7 1/2" square. The rolled edge mayo stands 3 1/4" high and the square diameter of the top is 6". The silver on the cobalt is very striking. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or cloudiness. T is a light straw mark on the mayo. The silver is 95 to 97% intact. This is an outstanding find for the Crow's Foot or Paden City collector. U.S. buyers will pay shipping of $12. Others will be determined at time of sale. T is no reserve. Thanks.
