I was educated by a great eBayer that BMF stands for hte manufacturer of Bruckmann Metalworks Factory. Zinn is the Germany word for TIN, which Pewter is made up of and Germany refers to Pewter. The hallmark is that of BMF also. I can't make out the mark underneath in your picture, but it is probably a number indicating what grade pewter it is. (The number underneath is 94%). Bruckmann Silver company was in business from 1805 - 1973. They probaly made this item just before they closed; 1960's or 70's. Saytr holding a horned looking cup. No dents - issues with piece.
