An absolutely exquisite,hand made large and heavy Bohemian/Czech lead crystal plate. Since the 17 th Century,Bohemian Glassmakeers have been producing a glass mass that closely resembles natural crystal.Bohemia Cryastal is prized for its weight,clarity and hardness. When shaped into glass pieces,hand-cut in the traditional Bohemia rich cut pattern and then polished ,Bohemia Crystal becomes JEWEL-LIKE reflecting light in a way that only a diamond can. The featured plate is intirely hand made of 24% leaded Bohemian Crystal . It is free-form blown by a master blower using a blow pipe,cut by hand and then polished.Each step of the process is done by hand,by skilled glass artists who have had years of training. This beautiful,thick and heavy plate is square 5x5 inches . The shape is one of the classic,traditional Bohemian shapes.The intricate cuts are in the famous award winning 500PK pattern,also known as the "Parisian","Queen Lace" or "Lace" pattern,featuring the famous Bohemian star.The many perfect,sharp hand cuts make this piece a super sparkler-exceptionally reflecting white light while light retracting the colors of the rainbow.(check pics.numb 1 and 3) .Please note that this carafe is crystal clear ,although it may appear pink,blue,violet or yellow on some screens.
