To this day, Caldas da Rainha is still well known for the ceramic pottery produced there, and Bordallo Pinheiro pottery is very popular, both in Portugal and internationally.The production facility for Bordalo Pinheiro pottery still exists and operates in Portugal. In fact, it is right where it was started over 120 years ago. The factory's name is now Faianças Artísticas Bordalo Pinheiro Ltd and current production are designed within the standards set by Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro. His designs were set around motifs of nature, animals, etc. combined together with rich colors. Some of Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro's more notable pieces are on display in the interior of the factory or housed in the museum in Lisbon, which is named after him.Thanks for looking and email me with any questions
