Boxed Medal Casualty 20th Lancashire Fusiliers 4th Salford Pals Claude Brooks Description A genuine WW1 War Medal in original box of issue. The medal is correctly named to 19620 PTE.C.BROOKS.LAN.FUS. Comes with some research showing that Claude Brooks died of wounds aged 22 on the 27th April 1916 and is buried in ABBEVILLE COMMUNAL CEMETERY. He was the son of George and Alice who lived at 35 Garden Street, Lower Broughton in Salford.He was in the 20th Lancashire Fusiliers the 4th Salford Pals.
