Awesome piece of Boy Scout memorabilia.This is the "Official First Aid Kit, Boy Scouts of America" Approved by the American Red Cross. Prepared by Bauer and Black, Chicago, USA.All of the first aid supplies present, are in their original wrappings. -1 Envelope Mercurochrome Gauze, 6 X 36 -1 Tube First Aid for Burns (the tube has soaked through, so its box is stained on one side, (This seems to be very typical as compared to other kits I've have seen for sale) -1 Tube Soap Solvent for poison oak/ivy poisoning -VIVO Swabs (The 3 vials inside are in like-new condition) -Snake Bite Kit -2 1" Adhesive Compresses -First Aid Guide Book, dated 1928 (great shape with no writing or damaged pages) Missing from the original kit: 2 Sterile Gauze Bandages, M ercurochrome Swab and Adhesive Plaster.See pictures for actual condition of each item.The tin measures 5 3/8" X 2 3/4" X 1 1/4" deep.
