This is an unused modern (1980s) set packed in a box measuring 21.4" wide x 13.5" high x 2.4" deep. It is an educational set that teaches you about simple electrical circuits, and it includes a motor, bell, buzzer, lights, switches and other components that you wire into different kinds of circuits. No soldering is required and tools are included. The components are compatible with BRAL and other standard metal construction sets using 1/2" hole spacing and #8 bolts and nuts (Erector, Meccano, Marklin, etc.). The set box and vacuum-formed plastic tray are complete and intact. The shrink wrap has been removed. The instruction manual is in nearly fine and fresh condition. The set has been opened but never played with, and it is factory complete. The motor, buzzer, bell and light bulbs all test OK. The set needs a 4.5 volt heavy duty battery or power supply (the motor will draw at least 1 ampere). The battery is not included with the set.BRAL is an Italian manufacturer of metal construction sets which started production in the 1920s and ceased production in 2000. BRAL sets are similar to and compatible with Meccano, Marklin and other systems using 1/2" hole spacing and 8-32 British Standard Whitworth bolts and nuts.
