All Brass HO Missouri Pacific Railroad (MP) SD40-2 from Ajin Precision/Overland Models, Inc. A very nice and super detailed HO scale all brass model of Missouri Pacific Railroad's (MP) SD40-2 road diesel locomotive. This model represents the late version that comes with extended range dynamic brakes and late radiator screens. The prototype was built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division (EMD) for many roads including MP. This particular model was exquisitely hand crafted by the master craftsmen of Ajin Precision in Korea and imported by Overland Models (OMI) in 1988 as catalog #5319. Fully detailed and beautifully custom painted as engine #6044 in Union Pacific's yellow and grey paint scheme after MP merged with UP in 1982. In addition, it is equipped with working constant intensity headlights as well as cab window glazing. Powered by a top quality can motor with tower drive and all wheel drive gearboxes, it runs very smooth, a must have addition for the MP collector and modeler. In excellent condition and comes with the original box and foam which are also in nice condition. Please check out the enclosed photos. Standard shipping charge includes full insurance.
