For auction is a Bremer and Bruckmann toy or miniature Sewing Machine. The Machine dates from the late 19th Century and was made by German Manufacturer Bremer and Bruckmann They sold some machines to wholesalers in other countries. British based Leigh and Crawford was one of them and they sold this machine under their name. . The lower arm of the machine reveals that they were doing business at 32 & 33 Brooke St,Holborn,E.C. which apparently was part of London. The Machine also comes with its original tin dome which is very rare. The dome is richly decorated and has original round top handle and side hooks. The machine is decorated with all sorts of intricate gold designs. The stitch plate is stamped with the B &B Trademark. The machine is in good condition.It has normal wear caused by usage. The mechanism turns freely when the hand wheel is turned. The top of the machine tilts backwards to reveal a small compartment for accessories. The machine is in original condition.it has never been repainted or touched up. It is about 11 inches long and 9 inches high. Shipping about $15
