Britains Ltd. 4.5” Howitzer Cannon #1725 This Howitzer is in EXCELLENT condition . All parts move freely. This set was purchased new in the 1940s. NO REPAINTING OR REPAIR. This gun is in such great condition because they have been packed away in a box for the past fifty years. Sorry, no box. This is a 4.5” Howitzer cannon with full elevating mechanism, capable of firing a metal shell with or without amorce cap. The gun can be smoothly and easily raised or lowered using the wheel on one side. The two wheels have their original tires, and the rear of the cannon has a hole for hooking onto another vehicle. Measurements: 5” long William Britain , W. Britain, or simply Britains - These names are synonymous with toy soldiers and collectible military miniatures. Since 1893 W.
