British Army issue kilt - Highland light infantry(Tartan No.5A)This kilt is in very good condition with no marks or pulls, made by Thomas Gordon & sons, Glasgow. The kilt is made from pure wool and has just been professionally cleaned prior to sale. This was my kilt, but it is too small for me now. The size is size 36, Height 6Ft.1"-6Ft.2", waist 37", Breech 44". This is not a cheap "casual" kilt, this was handmade for the army and is top quality. This is a rare kilt due to the larger waist size, most army kilts available are 28-30" waist.Remember, army kilts are worn higher than normal kilts. A kilt made like this today would cost you a fortune.H.L.I = MacKenzie tartan. This tartan was also worn by the Seaforth Highlanders. This kilt is VERY heavy, and as such will be expensive to post.Any questions, please contact me.
