The British denim battledress uniform was a favorite of British commandos from WW2 thru the late 50s. It was also used by French Foreign Legionnaires in Indochina and in the Suez in 1956. This British WW2 1950s OD Denim Battledress Jacket is in mint, unissued, never worn condition, with no rips, holes, tears, or staining. It is complete with all of the original buttons, carries the original broad arrow marked tag, and is dated 1955. It is a size Medium (9), with a 38-40 chest, and is a fine example of a British WW2 1950s Suez OD Denim Battledress Jacket. We have shown a photo of a French sapper during the Suez crisis in 1956, wearing the British battledress jacket.
