BEAUTIFULLY CAST AND MODELED AND VERY EARLY AND FINE DATING TO C1880 - PART OF A WONDERFUL COLLECTION! This is a superb solid bronze cast dog, possibly a bulldog, boxer or pug. This is very possibly from France or Austrian Vienna Bronze (Bronze de Vienne, Wiener Bronze, Cold Painted Bronze) It dates to c1850-1900. Clearly are of the highest quality of Bronzes. This is an antique bronze, not a new reproduction! It is signed with three initials that I cannot make out. Please see our other auctions for more early Vienna Bronzes. The dog is 35mm tall and 50mm long. It may have been attached to a base at one time. There is no damage to the bronze. The bronze is solid. Treat yourself or a loved one to a treasure to cherish for generations and one which will only increase in value over time!We list our handling time as 15 days in case we are traveling.
