Brooks Robinson Autograph Baseball with Inscription "1966 Champs" from 2004 Fleer Legacy Baseball #'d 5/5 !!! OK folks, first things first. We need to start out by informing you about the 2004 Fleer Legacy product. At the time of its release, this product was selling for $250.00 a box(which 1 box equals 1 pack). Its "box" contained 1 autographed baseball and 1 packs of cards with autographs and jersey cards avaliable. Now, these boxes are virtually impossible to locate in todays market and these baseball's are the same way. The Fleer Legacy product offered around 40 different autograph baseball, most of which were unnumbered, the remaining were #'d to around 99 or less, then just a select few #'d to 25 or less. This being the only Brooks Robinson I've ever seen offered #'d to 5. ALSO, this is # 5 of 5, which as we all know that is Brooks jersey number. Making this the only one of its kind!!! Next is the Authentication. Fleer has included their Document of Authenticatoin. With the Certificate from FLEER, and the 2 holograms, this ball has the perfect authenticity for gaining value in the future and also future sale of this item. This certification lets the next buyer know without a doubt its authentic! After the authentication is condition. The condition of this baseball is immaculate! The complete signature along with the inscription is in a perfect blue ball point pen. It is tough to find signatures of Brooks in this nice of condition because he has very sloppy handwritting and usually his letters will jumble together making it tough to read. This signature is probabaly best i've ever seen, and I have personally met him 4 times, each time his signatures are tight and jumbled. This ball portraits a long full non-jumbled name, it truely is beautiful! The inscription makes this ball even more valuable, since most of the time a player will just sign his name. Hand-numbered 5/5 it was produced only to his jersey number and this ball being #5 his jersey number out of the production run adds even more value!
