I am not even a good Back Row Baptist tfore the pictures will have to do most of the speaking about this item. I think that this Vintage Buddha is an almost solid Ceramic glazed statue because it weighs over 6 pounds. T are a couple of hairline cracks in the glaze on the Buddha's foot but they are basically superficial and that is the only flaw that I see. T is a 1/2 inch diameter bright Red stone mounted on the top of the head. The Buddha holds a butterfly in his left hand. Moulded into the back bottom edge of the statue are the words Universal Statuary Corp. Chicago Il 1962 #765 . T is some Black felt on the bottom of the statue.The statue is approximately 12 inches tall and 11inches from knee to knee and 7 inches from shoulder to shoulder. The base is approximately 6 1/2 inches wide. I have not tried to clean this statue but one can see that it would clean up really good. Thank you for looking.
