Burma Myanmar, early Arakan, King Thado, Rare Large Silver Tankah, dated BE 1007, which corresponds to 1645 of the western calendar. Size: 31 mm. Weight: 10.11 gm. Nice large Planchet. Arakan surrendered to Burma in 1784 and coins were issued by the king’s governor in Arakan, bearing the following inscription “Amarapura, Kingdom of the Lord of Many White Elephants”.
