I recieved this dha years ago from a British soldier who brought it back from Burma. T is no rust but has a dark patina. Length of cutting edge is 22". Handle is 6 1/4" and is laquered rattan with a silver sleave and ivory end cap. This sword has a grizzly past and the soldier gave me a card that will come with it. The card says "A SWORD BLADE ONE OF WHICH WAS USED IN THE DECAPITATION OF A JAPANESE SOLDIER 6. 2. 45" I will be selling my collection this week so more swords will follow.
